Birgitta von Kosigk worked on many special needs files, including Auton, Anderson, and Hewko. She also represented clients before human rights tribunals and in school board hearings. Currently, Birgitta works with individuals, families, and businesses to create better solutions in areas such as career development and talent management, succession planning, and work/life balance (particularly work/caring balance).

Lindsay Waddell practiced as a human rights lawyer where she represented complainants in proceedings before the BC Human Rights Tribunal and in judicial reviews and appeals of Tribunal decisions. She has a wide variety of litigation experience and has appeared as counsel at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Lindsay speaks frequently on a wide range of human rights and equality-related subjects.  She is currently an executive member of the Human Rights Subsection of the CBA BC.

Jodie Wickens is a newly elected MLA and a member of our own group since it’s inception about a year and a half ago.  She is a passionate parent advocate and the past Executive Director of the Autism Support Network.  She has just been assigned the position of Deputy Education Critic for the Opposition.

Annita McPhee is the former three-term President of the Tahltan Central Council.

 

She is an active advisor and director on several provincial and national boards including the Legal Services Society, Vancouver Board of Trade’s Aboriginal Affairs Committee, BC Hydro’s Strategic Aboriginal Engagement Committee, and the Minister of Aboriginal Relations Advisory Council on Aboriginal Women among others.

Now running her own consultancy, Annita provides strategic advice to industry and First Nations in energy and resource development while specializing in Aboriginal engagement including facilitation, fundraising and negotiation.
